Knowing his love for life, the family responded to the request for Dennis to give the “Gift of Life”- donating his kidneys. He cherished his church family very much referring to first lady, Co-Pastor Rena Kernodle as “Ma”.Dennis had plans to pursue a culinary career when his life was cut short. ![]() His favorite song that he sung was “Can’t Give Up Now”. Dennis was a member of the male chorus and mass choir. November 1, 2015, Dennis re-committed himself to Christ and was baptized at Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church, Penhook, VA by Senior Pastor Kevin L. Dennis gave his life to Christ at a very young age, joining First Baptist Church of Lincoln Garden serving on the junior usher board. He had an affectionate smile, always laughing and being silly. He often spent time visiting his Mother and family in South Boston, VA.Dennis had a love for cooking and bowling following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Dennis resided in New Jersey working at Burlington Coat Factory, UPS and Home Depot. After graduation, Dennis attended Raritan Valley Community College Fall 2004. ![]() He played with Franklin Township Pop Warner and Franklin High School as a wide-receiver. Raised in Somerset, NJ, Dennis was educated in Franklin Township School District where he graduated from Franklin High School in 2004. He departed this life on Augat Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV.
